This Continuing Medical Education (CME) case study aims to:
• Assist in the clinical application of recent management guidelines that advocate the use of SGLT-2 inhibitors in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients at very high cardiovascular (CV) risk
• To provide the evidence from randomised clinical trials that supports the therapy choices that are best practice for these patients
• To support the clinician in his/her management of the overall CV risk in a typical patient seen in daily practice
